Fego caffe is a pleasant surprise! Relatively unknown, I first stumbled upon it at Monte Casino whilst I was waiting for a theatre show.
Price: At the time of writing this review 14 June 2019, a side plate of chips was R26.00
Size of chip: medium length skinny fries
Cooking: Evenly cooked with one or two chips being a bit more crisp due to size differences. Soft and fluffy on the inside, slight crisp on the surface.
Spices and sauce: Chip spice, salt, tangy good quality mayo, sweet chilli. Good depth of potato flavour!
Portion: Average sized portion
4/5 good chips. Would recommend. Fego cafe has a broad menu to cater for a variety of pallets, however it is always a reliable choice for me for a good potato chip experience.
