Salvation Cafe is one of Joburg's most popular and trendy spots for breakfast on the weekend and during the day. Set in the heart of 44 Stanley in Braamfontein in a courtyard of trees and plants - it truly has all the ambiance one would need for a perfect breakfast nook.
It gets extremely busy on the weekends though! Be prepared to book or wait.

So I ordered a burger which came with fries on the side.
Profile: Thin, skinny fries
Cooked: Well cooked through, not too dry
Sauce: Came with a dipping sauce that had strong umami flavours: tomato and balsamic vibes
Spicing: Unseasoned. Which was disappointing
Overall: 3.5 / 5 average chips. Come here for the breakfast or lunch food, the vibe and not for the chips.
